Since 1996 Shari’s Berries & Garden has been growing fruit, flowers and plants! We began with blackberries and later added fall bearing red raspberries.
Initially, we had sold perennials and flowering shrubs to neighbors, friends and customers at the various farmers’ markets where we were vendors. We have since began growing decorative annuals and houseplants, which make perfect additions to any sized dorm room or apartment, porch or patio.
The cut flowers are sold to our farmers’ market customers and through local wholesale and retail florists. We also provide flowers for weddings and other events like showers, graduation parties and birthdays. Flowers can be purchased by the bunch or by the bucket. Prior to the big day, brides enjoy sharing time with their family and bridal party, arranging the flower bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and ceremony arrangements.
The berries are sold at the farmer’s market and directly to customers through pick your own or by order. Get on the berry call list and we’ll call you when the berries are ready to pick! Or when your pre-picked order is ready for pick up!
Some of our berries are used to make our homemade jams! The jams are made with more fruit than sugar, so you can get the true taste of the fruit. Some berries are combined with other locally harvested fruit like strawberries, blueberries and peaches. There are a variety of flavors to choose from. Normally sold in 8 ounce jars, our sample sizes are 4 ounces, so you can try new flavors! The jams are also available by the case! Perfect for party favors, business gifts or stocking stuffers.
